Library-in-SunshineWe Love Books

The Mitchell School Library has dual roles. It serves as the learning resource center for K-12 students, as well as a library for Mitchell community residents. The Library includes a well-rounded selection of juvenile, young adult, and reference books as well  as training videos, DVDs, newspapers, magazines, Oregon history, genealogy, and local authors. High-speed Internet access is available as well as a book exchange program.

The library is also part of the statewide Interlibrary Loan (ILL) program that brings to Mitchell resources drawn from the entire network of Oregon library collections.

The School Library also coordinates WORD, the adult volunteer reading program for elementary school children.
